>> Whose side are we on?
Cape Philatelics acts as your agent to sell your collection on your
behalf. As we operate on a commission basis it is also in our own

it is also our responsibility to accurately present material being
sold and great care is taken that the buyer can bid with full
confidence in our descriptions.

extensive international client records also allow us to target
important specialist collectors when appropriate.

percentage of the total sale result, varying from client to client
depending on the nature of the collection. This percentage will
normally be lower than offered elsewhere. A copy of our standard
Terms and Conditions of Sale is available on request and is provided
with your receipt when material is received. VAT at the current rate
is added to charges made.
>> Valuations
Our specialists are pleased to visit the homes or offices of clients
considering sale and such visits are normally without charge or
obligation. Please contact us for details of our next visit to your
area. Details of fees for valuations undertaken for the purpose of
Insurance is available on request. These fees may be refunded should
the collection subsequently be sold through us. Full confidentiality
is assured at all times.
